Text Box: As the saying goes it’s not the winning it’s the taking part that counts! What a load of rubbish! I’m fed up with taking part and want some of the winning. As a team we have grown so much since the start of the season, but we really do need to put away our chances. We keep going so close but fall at the final fence. So can all parents please make sure that the boys get shooting boots for Christmas, as I want loads more goals!!!.
If any parents can help with the shooting part of our game make yourself known, I can supply the balls ,boys and goals on a Thursday and assist in any training ideas you lot may have. Don’t think that because you do it once you have to do it all the time, but every little helps!
Can parents please make sure that their little boys wear a t-shirt or vest underneath their football shirt as it is blooming cold at the moment, some of the boys were freezing on Sunday. Get them wrapped up as they can always take layers off.
Hopefully everyone understands the new rota. Three subs on a Sunday was a nightmare. This should help everyone get a fair run out. The weaker team members need to be brought along as much, if not more than our talented players. Next year we go 11 a-side and will need at least 15 players. So even if we don’t lose any players we need to obtain three more. Hopefully we can entice new trainee Josh to sign on! But we really need to add a
couple of decent players and not just mates.
A big thanks goes out to Tony Wood for obtaining our new kit. Why Sam’s the only one with his name on his shirt is just pure luck!! Thanks for returning the old kit and look after the new
one!!!
Our Christmas party is Friday 7th December 7:30 at Feering Community Centre, Coggeshall Road. Please bring your own drinks. Tickets are £5 on the door. Confirmed so far are Indy, Clint, Ryan, Tom, Sam, Liam and Cameron. See you there.
