Superb effort from both sides saw the lead changing continuously. A fine strike from Ryan Pearce made the score equal. Another strike from Jack Vickery and a coolly taken Penalty from Ryan Pearce left the game at 3 – 3. Aaron Purcell defended his goal superbly 3 times with breath-taking clearances! But a last minute goal decided this end-to-end thriller. Credit to the Minors who played their hearts out and maintained a mature and responsible attitude to the end.

The Minors worked hard against a good Heybridge side. Jack Plumb in goal was outstanding and could do nothing about the three scrappy goals that decided this game. A special mention to the back four who defended stoutly.
Tiptree Minors 8 Mayland 0
A rusty starty and a battling Mayland performance kept the score to 1-0 at half time. Strong defending was the platform for a second half of freedom for the Minors attack. Eventually goals came from Jack Vickery (3) Tallon Terry (2) Ryan Pearce (2) and Thomas Potter making this a more comprehensive win. A special mention to the Mayland goalkeeper who pulled off some fine saves.

A late night was had by all this week as our manager Gary was 40 this weekend! Although a goal from the managers son, Ryan, saved some face. However, time now to recover and reflect on this season so far over the Christmas period ready for the new year. A big thank you to the parents of the under 11’s for their continued support.

The Minors worked hard to grind down a spirited Mayland Team. Tallon Terry led the way with a well taken hat-trick. Tommy Potter also chipped in with a couple, Jack Vickery also got one and then came some rare but well taken goals from Aaron Purcell, Kane Mansield and Ross Vanson. ANOTHER all round solid performance from the boys.

A Powerful performance from the Minors ended in a comfortable victory. A fine 25 yrd freekick from Tallon Terry opened the scoring, followed by goals from Daniel York, Thomas Potter, Ryan Pearce and another from Terry. Every player was on form but a special mention for Kane Mansfield who played his best game in a Minors shirt!

Some fine long range goals were amongst the nine scored by the Minors on Sunday. Jack Vickery lead the way with 4, Ryan Pearce 2, Thomas Potter, Tallon Terry, and Daniel York 1 a piece. Strong defending enabled a welcome clean sheet for the boys at the back.
