Tiptree minors 7   Mayland pumas  1

Tiptree were still on a high from there win last week and with every thing to play for we set of to Mayland, after 5 minutes Tiptree found them self's 2 goals to the good, with 2 fine goal from Ben Houlding & Lenox Pierre.Tiptree looked in control only to have there keeper Ed Reynolds substituted 15 minutes into the game with a twisted knee 2nd keeper Ben Kirby made a huge effort to keep a clean sheet.
Tiptree's captain George Hicks kept his defenders on there toes and they dealt with anything Mayland had to offer this was the best display of defensive work we have seen from our back 4.
Tiptree's midfield didn't disappoint ether with more goals from Houlding & Pierre to finished the first half 6-0 up.
Tiptree moved into defensive mode as not to concede at the beginning of the second half Mayland made more chances at the start of the half but were still unable to breakTiptree's defence .Substitute Denny Wright came on for Lenox Pierre and to have scored twice on his debut this was a good job done. Tiptree made more chances for them self's but only found the net once more in the second half and this time it was Denny Wrights turn to be goal scorer.Mayland made an attack towards the end of the game and were awarded a penalty for hand ball keeper Kirby got afoot on the ball but the pace took the ball into the back of the net .
Score Mayland 1. Tiptree Minors 7.           Man of the match Ben Houlding

Tiptree Minors 4 Gallow united  3

First game of the season saw Tiptree come from behind twice, after taking the lead mid way through the first half Tiptree nearly made it to half time without conceding but this was not to be 1 all at the break.Tiptree,s old problem of half time syndrome raise it's head again with only about 5 minutes gone we found our self's 2-1 down. Substitute Jamie Rodwel levelled the score to 2-2.Tiptree's defence started to settle down and the game was started to swing in Tiptrees favour but Gallow were still looking to take the points and after a well taken goal moved them selves into the driving seat, but once again Tiptree found the back of the net when Ben Frost was one on one with the keeper a change of direction saw the keeper slip making it easy for Frost to slip the ball home. As a manager at this point you start to think i'll take the draw and with the clock ticking down it looked like 3-3 was how it would finish but oh no after a bad kick by Gallows' keeper the ball bounced mid way in there half only for Conor Bays to hit a 30 yarder straight back at the goal and through the keepers hand 4-3 to Tiptree. Man of the match Ben Frost
