There was a great pace to the game from the start today with both teams playing some good football. Tiptree passed really well throughout the first half and had opportunity to score. Early into the second half Josh Pollard gave The Minors the lead, Tiptree’s keeper Jamie Sleet made some great saves and Ross Woolfenden was extremely unlucky not to score. Jack Green set up the next Tiptree goal scored by Josh Pollard and Notley pulled one back. Tiptree quickly responded with Jack Green netting the Minors another goal securing the win.

No substitutes for the Minors on this very warm day but the boys began well and created opportunity to score. There was end to end action in a game that had great pace and good football from both teams. Despite their determination the Minors just couldn’t get one in the net today and Fennlands shot home the only goal of the day.Well done to both teams for a very entertaining and exciting game of football.

Silver End 2 Tiptree Minors Dodgers 2
From the start Tiptree looked as if they were going to have a cracking game today with some great football played by the whole team. Ross Woolfenden put in a particularly good performance and an early goal from Josh Pollard gave the Minors the lead. There was ample opportunity for Tiptree to increase their score however it was Silver End who were next to find the back of the net.Tiptree needed to up their game in the second half and they did just that. An excellent goal from Christian Enstone put the Minors back in the lead and Tiptree showed just how well they can pass. Jack Green had two great shots on goal but a Silver End equaliser minutes before the final whistle brought the score to a draw. In the dying minutes with both teams desperate for the winning goal Silver End missed a free kick and a narrowly missed shot by Tiptree’s Christian Enstone meant the final score remained 2-2.

Valley Green Pumas 2 Tiptree Minors Dodgers 1
The first game of the Spring League and from the very start Tiptree had the run of the game with ample opportunity to score. There was exceptional play from Alfie Alexander throughout the first half and the Minors persistence paid off when Josh Pollard scored the first goal of the game. Despite the great defending from Henry Walker and Harry Billimore today, Valley Green came straight back with the equaliser. Tiptree remained the stronger side and continued their impressive team work during the second half.The winning goal went to Valley Green but the final score in no way reflected the performance Tiptree gave today and all of the boys should be proud of themselves.

Tiptree Minors 0 Heybridge Youth 2
A bit of a messy first half for the Minors today, fantastic goal keeping throughout from Tiptree’s Jamie Sleet and opportunity to score for Alfie Alexander, Ross Woolfenden and Josh Pollard but Heybridge found the first goal of the game and put the Minors 1-0 down going into half time.Despite Tiptree’s keeper making multiple saves again in the second half and further shots on goal, Heybridge scored again and the Minors just couldn’t find the net today.

Danbury Juniors 4 Tiptree Minors 3
The match couldn’t have started better for the Minors today with Josh Pollard steaming in with 2 fantastic early goals. Tiptree’s keeper, Jamie Sleet made some impressive saves but eventually Danbury pulled one back. The game continued with great pace at both ends of the pitch, with Alfie Alexander just missing the net after good pass from Christian Enstone and Danbury finding their second goal. Josh Pollard promptly put the Minors back in the lead with his third hat trick this season. The second half saw Danbury find the equaliser and both teams battled hard to score the winning goal. Tiptree displayed some great passing and excellent teamwork throughout the entire match, but Danbury got the much-needed fourth goal in a very evenly matched game.

Tiptree Minors 1 Great Notley Vipers 2
Tiptrees’ keeper, Jamie Sleet started with some great saves again this week denying Notley an early goal, however despite Tiptree’s determination Notley found the back the net before the half time whistle. Tiptree came out a different side knowing they just had to score and they were on a mission. Each and every player worked so hard to find the equaliser, a great run by Harry Billimore led to the much-needed equaliser by Christian Enstone and Alfie Alexander was unlucky not to score shortly afterwards. Notley stuck back with a cracking goal and in a match where the Minors had to cope with injuries and no substitutes, they were fantastic.

There was no denying Tiptree’s keeper, Jamie Sleet has his work cut out during the first half and he made some superb saves today. Cameron Matthews and Jack Green both worked hard for the Minors but Silver End dominated the first half and found the net before the half time whistle.The second half saw Tiptree having the majority of play and opportunity to score but just not managing to find the equaliser. Good team spirit as ever when these 2 teams meet.

Fennlands United 1 Tiptree Minors 0
A fantastic game today where the Minors dominated the majority of play during the first half, Jack Green and Josh Pollard both started with superb early attempts on goal. Harry Billimore predominately in defence gave it his all today and there were plenty of further opportunities to score. If it were not for the great Fennlands keeper the Minors would have been well ahead by half time. Into the second half and despite the continuing strong team work from the Minors, Fennlands found the net and scored the only goal of the game. The Minors fought with 100% effort to the bitter end today and really didn’t deserve to lose, however it was a fantastic game with every player giving it their all.

Great Notley Irons 2 Tiptree Minors 2
The coldest morning of the season so far saw Great Notley scoring the first goal but Tiptree battled straight back with Jack Green smashing in the equaliser for Tiptree and narrowly missing his second opportunity of a goal for Tiptree. A great corner from Christian Enstone gave Josh Pollard the opportunity to strike and score the second goal for the Minors, yet despite fantastic goal keeping from Jamie Sleet, Great Notley found the equaliser before the half time whistle. Christian Enstone and Jack Green were so very close to clinching the winning goal for Tiptree today during a match where the Minors were struck with illness and injury, however they pulled together, gave it there all and with exceptional play from Alfie Alexander and Jack Green combined with good team work they piled on the pressure in the second half to ensure the score remained a draw.

On a horrendously muddy pitch Maldon Saints displayed some really great passing and earned the first shot on goal which was well saved by the Tiptree keeper, Jamie Sleet. After a penalty awarded from an unfortunate hand ball Tiptree’s Josh Pollard scored and following further good play from both teams Josh Pollard scored his second before half time.Christian Enstone made it 3 for the Minors with a superb goal early in the second half and Maldon were very unlucky not to score from a penalty. Ross Woolfenden had a great attempt at adding to Tiptree’s score and Josh Pollard smashed in his 3rd earning his second hat track of this season.A great game in which Maldon played well and were very unlucky not to score.

The boys came out with great determination today and it didn’t take long for Josh Pollard to find the net and put the Minors in the lead. A great combination of good defending and goalkeeping denied Valley Green the chance to equalise with particularly good work from Alfie Alexancer. Josh Pollard secured the well deserved victory for the Minors with his second goal in a game that had good solid performances from each and every player.

The first half saw good early play from both teams with opportunity to score at both ends. Heybridge took the lead but Tiptree came straight back with a fantastic run from Josh Pollard accurately passed to Jack Green who promptly scored the equaliser. Josh Pollard also found the net before the half time whistle to put Tiptree ahead. The second half belonged to Tiptree with Jack Green adding two, scoring his first hat trick of the season and a further goal from Josh Pollard. Heybridge pulled one back but it was a well deserved win for the Minors who displayed some brilliant passing today.

In what can only be described as a game of 2 halves, Tiptree completely dominated the first half and looked certain to come away with a win after a great corner from Christian Enstone led to the first goal of the game from Josh Pollard. There was superb defending throughout the entire match in particular from Cameron Matthews and Harry Billimore. Despite Jamie Sleet’s tremendous second half saves Danbury just managed to pull back the equalizer before the final whistle.

Tiptree showed great determination throughout the entire game with excellent defending from Cameron Matthews, Alfie Alexander and Harry Billimore. There were tireless performances as ever from Christian Enstone and Josh Pollard, with Jack Green netting an impressive goal early in the second half and denied a second after a great save from the Notley keeper. Josh Pollard netted a further goal for the Minors with Notley swiftly pulling 2 back to leave the score 2-2. Two evenly matched teams in terms of performance and a great team effort from the Minors.

Tiptree dominated the first half of the match with great tackling from Josh Pollard, excellent passing and plenty of shots on goal. A fantastic cross from Jack Green enabled Christian Enstone to net the Minors first goal and shortly into the second half Jack Green scored the second. Josh Pollard finished of the match with the third goal for Tiptree. This was undoubtedly the best game that Tiptree have had so far this season with accurate passing, strong defending and superb team work throughout the entire match.

The game started brilliantly for the Minors today with ample opportunity to score and great football from Alfie Alexander. Josh Pollard was first to score and found the net twice in the first half. Fennland United displayed some good passing and the score could have been higher if it wasn’t for their great keeper. The second half saw a great shot on goal by Henry Walker, who had a fantastic game, Josh Pollard getting his first hat trick of the season and Christian Enstone also adding another great goal. A well deserved win for the Minors.

The first game of the season and Valley Green took the lead during the first half. This encouraged Tiptree who quickly gained pace and upped their momentum with Christian Enstone narrowly missing the goal twice within minutes. Jack Green and Alfie Alexander displayed some skilful passing with Christian Enstone netting 2 goals for the Minors, including a superb penalty. Come on Tiptree, keep it up.
