Sporting 77  0 - 2 Tiptree Minors

Despite a wind and rain swept afternoon combined with a much depleted squad the Minors pulled off an impressive win.  Sporting 77 started the game by testing keeper Cameron Wright with a couple of long range shots which he saved capabably.  However, the superb running and passing from Calum Edwards, Ryan Carter and Harry Dalton opened up our first goal from a corner and then slotted home by Callum on the edge of the 6 yard box.  The second goal was put through from Ryan Carter for Callum to coolly net.  Our defensive pairing of Aaron Curwood and Joseph Barton saved us on a number of occaisions when Sporting 77 were trying to get back in to the game.  The excellent win in harsh conditions was also assisted by Matthew Hyde and a great debut by William Kimber.
