Tiptree Minors Athletic 2  Flitch Youth 5

On a very hot day for the boys at Tiptree, and the first game of the season it was going to be a hard game, and everybody could not wait for the whisle to blow for the first game of the season.
Tiptree Minors started soon putting some good passing moves from Owen Hinson and Connor Murphy which five minutes into the first half came the minors 1st Goal of the Season which came from Owen Hinson sliding the ball pass the Flitch's goal Keeper, but Flitch youth soon came back with three goals before half time whisle was blown and Minors 3-1 down.

 

Quick team talk and Tiptree came fighting back with some brave defending from Owen Maddocks and Josh Richardson the game was turning with a great battle play in Midfield from John Newman and Sam Beadle and from new signing Jay Biagioni a goal soon game from a excellent strike from Connor Murphy. Flitch soon started to pile the pressure on which made Minors keeper Jake Roots pull off some good saves.
